Champion Training on Hospice Basics
Alternative Senior Care partnered with St. Croix Hospice to bring a Champion Training on Hospice Basics to our community. We were so blessed to have James Neppl, Chaplin, talk about the Benefits of Hospice Services and the mixed experience of “Sad and Beautiful” in helping those in his care. Our staff, along with others in the community appreciated the candid conversation about the difficult topic of Hospice and tender moments leading up to the end of life.
This is just one of many series of Free training’s Alternative Senior Care offers to staff, families, clients, and our community.
Our next training will be held at First Lutheran Church Sauk Centre on September 16th 12pm-4pm with Erin Bonitto, M.S. A.D.C. founder of Gemini Consulting. The focus topic; Creating Pleasure, Purpose and Peace: Activities for the person with Dementia. You will learn how strength-based activities can result in decreased intensity and challenging behavioral symptoms.
