Alternative Senior Care Celebrates 20 Years of Service

20 Years of ServiceThis year marked a remarkable milestone for Alternative Senior Care as we celebrated 20 years of serving our community. What began as a small, local company has grown into a trusted provider serving more than 2,500 seniors and veterans across Central Minnesota over the years. To honor this legacy, a special gathering was held at our Sauk Centre office, bringing together clients, families, staff, and community members.

The event was filled with joy, gratitude, and heartfelt memories. Cindy Karasch, who co-founded Alternative Senior Care with her husband Mike, joined the celebration and reflected on the early days of the company. Cindy shared how proud she is of the growth and continued mission to provide compassionate care to seniors throughout the region.

Guests enjoyed a festive atmosphere complete with games, prizes, and drawings sponsored by local businesses, including Purple Parlor, Joyful Blooms, and Schaffer’s Meat Market. The celebration was made even sweeter with delicious offerings from Zolly’s Food Truck, which served up treats for everyone to enjoy.

Owners Paula and Lainie, along with their dedicated office team and nursing staff, spent the day connecting with guests and celebrating the impact Alternative Senior Care has had over the past two decades. The event was not only a time to look back on achievements but also a moment to appreciate the strong relationships built with families, clients, and the wider community.

As we reflect on this incredible milestone, we are filled with gratitude for everyone who has been part of our journey. From our founders and staff to the clients and families who have entrusted us with their care, this celebration was truly a testament to what can be accomplished when compassion leads the way.

Here’s to the next 20 years of service, care, and community!
