Help For Your Caregiving Journey

We understand & identify with the personal struggles that family members face when caring for their aging loved ones.

Over a four-month timeframe in 2018, Mike and I both lost our mothers. We want people to know that it’s conceivable to keep your loved ones at home until their final breath. Keeping our mothers at home was made possible through a team effort between family, hospice and the tender hearts of our personal assistants.

Caring for an aging loved one can be extremely rewarding. Knowing your effort has a positive impact on their quality of life is very satisfying. As people age, most require more care as their physical health begins to deteriorate. What used to take just a few hours per week turns into many hours per week. This can put great strain on the caregiver and begins to take a toll both mentally and physically. Soon those feelings of satisfaction can turn to frustration.

Allowing someone to help you does not mean you love that person any less. Bringing your life back into balance gives you the ability to spend quality time with that person you love so dearly. Let us help you bring back the joy of being a spouse, son or daughter instead of fulltime caregiver.

Our talented office staff and team of compassionate personal assistants identify with the reason we come to work each day. It’s best summed up in our mission statement which says, “Guided by faith, we’re called to provide compassionate care and peace of mind to all who desire to live at home.

Being family caregivers ourselves, coupled with 13+ years of being in business has given us experience and expertise that we are willing to share. Let Alternative Senior Care help you on your caregiving journey. Give us a call today.
