Alternative Senior Care Annual Staff Training
Alternative Senior Care hosted its Annual Staff Training on Thursday, March 27.
This is an important time when our staff gather to learn and connect. This is a special year for us because Alternative Senior Care is celebrating its 20th year of service. Our office team presented topics such as core values, professionalism, scheduling, empathy, connection, and the nurse delegated topics such as medication management.
We had beautiful floral arrangements from Joyful Bloom of Sauk Centre for a door prize as well as celebrating with amazing cupcakes from Jess’s Bakery.
An Alternative Senior Care Caregiver, Adam DuVall, had timely released his book on caregiving, and we read excerpts from his book, “Life Lessons from the Front Line of Caregiving” (Available on Amazon, a little shameless plug ). A video from our founders, Mike and Cindy Karasch, was played encouraging the next generation of ASC.
Some of our caregivers have been around 19 years and we love to see the new caregivers here with them. Connecting is key to a healthy relationship and with over 80 staff working remotely, this is one of many opportunities to provide connections.
We were so honored to be a part of this team and share this day together; they are really doing a fine job, and we couldn’t be prouder of them.
