New Co-Owner and CEO of Alternative Senior Care
Paula Bromenshenkel, the new Co-Owner and CEO, of Alternative Senior Care, began her career with a deep desire to help others. She studied at Minnesota State University Moorhead and graduated with her Social Worker Degree in 2002.
Paula and her husband Shawn have three daughters and Paula will tell you they are her “world”. She is very active in all their activities and coaches the Dance Team for Sauk Centre High School. Paula faith in Christ is a big part of her life and she is devoted to instilling that into her girls.
When her girls were small, she had her own business as a photographer and daycare, so she was available for her family. She began working at Alternative Senior Care as a night shift caregiver so she could be home with her small children in the daytime.
She was welcomed to the client care team soon after and found her niche with Client Care Coordinating. With office experience and client experience, Paula was a natural fit. Anyone who knows Paula will tell you she is very compassionate with a huge heart for Seniors and Veterans. Her grandparents were also clients of Alternative Senior Care, and she was very active in their care. “It was so rewarding to spend time with them and helping them stay at home together as long as they could.” said Paula.
Paula is a natural with clients, when she performs assessments, she is intuitive and so understanding. Many clients and their families have commented on her home visit “Putting their mind as ease”, “Helping us find solutions to hard situations”, and “she was so kind with my mom, she sat with her and chatted like old friends, she asked the questions without making mom feel threated by the idea of home care.”
This year, along with Operations Chairman, Lainie Berg, Paula purchased Alternative Senior Care and is the new CEO and Client Care Manager. We are so thankful for her and her heart to provide the best for our clients! Call us today to set up a free no-obligation assessment with Paula!
